Well, there has been lots of conjecture over the past few months but the mystery has finally been put to rest. After speaking to several sources over the past few weeks, Phone Mantra can now confirm that the Nokia Lumia 800 will be available in India in the fourth week of December for a best buy price of Rs. 26,599 ($515 approximately).
Speaking on the condition of anonymity, we have multiple sources telling us that online and brick-and-mortar retailers will be opening pre-orders for the highly anticipated Windows Phone 7.5 handset in the next two days. While some Nokia Priority Stores might get the device earlier, all retailers will definitely have the phone by the end of the month.
Nokia had itself launched official pre-booking for the phone in India just days ago, and at that time, the Nokia Priority Store executive could only say that the device would cost somewhere around Rs. 30,000.
LetsBuy has now changed their product page entirely, removing the expected cost price of Rs. 26,599 as well. Phone Mantra spoke with Nokia and they want to reaffirm that their best buy price of the Nokia Lumia 800 will be Rs. 29,999 as was reported earlier….
