Micromax launches A75 SUPERFONE Lite Dual SIM Android 2.3 for Rs 8,999

Continuing with its tradition of bringing affordable smartphones for its users, Micromax has launched the SUPERFONE Lite A75, which is a stripped down version of the A85 Superfone that the Indian handset vendor had launched last month. Unlike the A85, which was priced at Rs 19,990, the A75 is available for Rs 8,999. The new phone features a slower 650MHz processor (the A85 had a 1GHz dual-core processor), a 3.0 MP primary camera (unlike 5.0 MP on the A85) and a marginally smaller 3.75-inch display (versus 3.8-inch on the A85).

On the other hand, it gives you the advantage of being dual-SIM enabled and comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread version, unlike its more expensive sibling, which came loaded with Android 2.2 (the Gingerbread update was available later, though). It too has the usual featured like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Google voice search, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and a microSD card slot that can accommodate up to 32GB cards.

  • 3.75 inch capacitive.
  • DUAL SIM (GSM+GSM)

The A75 comes preloaded with apps like Google Voice Search which enables you to perform various actions by speaking to the phone, live sending text messages, taking down notes, play music, access websites, and find directions to places etc. The phone also has a series of apps like SAAVN for users to listen to their favorite music using this online music store, Times of India online newspaper, NETQIN ANTIVIRUS etc.
