Finding Your δ (delta) by Aakarsh Yardi
Every cell in human body is unique. It performs a unique function in terms of assimilation or diffusion in different proportions. They have unique proportion of proteins so as to be identified as an individual cell. Hence if one cell has a content say x, then the other has say x+δ (delta). Thus it goes without saying that every individual has a unique δ that makes him very different from another.
Human body has 100 trillion cells and if every cell is unique, why is very hard to believe that of a population of 7 billion on this planet every individual has the potential to be unique
I never fully understand when people talk about self realization, though I’ve used the term quite a few times in my blog. I believe the word is much bigger than what it is generally understood to be. One of the reasons for it being, the self itself encompasses a whole gamut of possibilities & probabilities that it’s very hard to believe that you could completely understand every permutation-combination of your own skill. But having said that I’m forced to think that isn’t it the challenge itself that makes it so plausible. The sheer number of opportunities forces me to believe that yes out of the trillions of delta combinations there might be a few in which I would be the best in the world !
Life’s quest is to find that δ, to understand what makes us stand out for ourselves and not for a crowd. What is it by doing which we would be happy even when we have nothing to gain by its execution? Sometimes it seems as simple as saying – to like something that you do; you must do something that you like. But is it really that simple?
If you look around you you’ll find that nature is a big fan of simplicity. It’s a big fan of effortlessness. Everything around us in nature happens with as much simplicity & as much effortlessness as possible. Be it the rising of the sun or the waning of the moon, the swaying of the grass blades to the withering of the leaves & flowers.
Your δ is not difficult to find, on the contrary it’s the most simplest or the bare natural form of you. Once you realize that and strip off all the extra layers that you have piled on – you will be left with nothing but your true self. You will radiate in a crowd you will stand out like a diamond in a mine of coal.
